Nooma 13.02.08 // DVD resource
We can get anything we want, from anywhere in the world, whenever we want it. That's how it is and that's how we want it to be. Still, our lives aren't any different than other generations before us. Our time is. We want spiritual direction, but it has to be real for us and available when we need it. We want a new format for getting Christian perspectives.
![]() |
NOOMA is the new format. It's short films with communicators that really speak to us. Compact, portable, and concise. Each NOOMA touches on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about, and it comes in a way that fits our world. It's a format that's there for us when we need it, as we need it, how we need it. The DRY office have a full set of NOOMA available for loan. If you would like to know more about Nooma please vist their website at www.nooma.com If you would like to have a DVD for use with your youth group please contact Shaun at the youth office on the detials to the left. |

'Faith and Difference' by Hard Gospel 13.02.08 // Free Resource Pack
Faith and Difference is something we all struggle with at some time in our lives, but do we really understand or know what others think? what do you think about others? This pack is designed and developed to explore how we react to imagery that will evoke feelings of anger, distrust, angxiety or even embarassment. This pack is great to explore those hard hitting questions like, 'How would you react if a traveller came into church? If someone of a different ethnic background became youth leader? If someone has very different views and opinions from you?' This is a FREE resource which cannot be missed. www.hardgospel.net

'Your First Two Years of Youth Ministry' 13.02.08 // Book Resource
![]() |
Since forever altering the course of the youth ministry world with his best-selling, groundbreaking book, Purpose-Driven(R)
Youth Ministry, Doug Fields' mind--but especially his heart--has been focused on the many unique needs of new youth workers.
Doug translated his passion, insight, and vision for his beloved "rookies" into what you're now reading, Your First Two Years
in Youth Ministry--hands-down the most comprehensive companion to not only surviving, but also thriving, during the most crucial
phase of youth ministry. Employing his renowned wisdom and humor--as if you and Doug were chatting over a long, relaxing meal--the
author disarmingly relates stories and principles from his own successes and failures over 20-plus years in youth ministry. In the end,
he offers treasure troves of practical advice, all in the hope that new youth workers can travel a smoother path and achieve real longevity
in a church culture that all too often chews them and spits them out.
